February 29 2008 - We loved staying at your beautiful
and well-cared for home this weekend! We had such an enjoyable time with the
three very nice bedrooms, wonderful linens, outstanding view, extremely
well-furnished kitchen, and all your other touches that make the home so nice
for guests. We hope to stay there again in the not-too-distant future.
After we left your place, we drove over the bridge to Indian
Island and the second island across from your home and fell in love with the

March 29-April 1 2007 As has been said so many times, thank you for making
this home available for guests. It is so peaceful and relaxing being here and
waking each morning to the call of the loon and the flight of an eagle or 2.
Quiets the mind and calms the sole. It was the perfect place for Maria's 70th

March 18-22, 2007 The perfect vacation for our busy family - the chance to do lots of nothing in a beautiful place together. We love Chetcenoke Park in Port Townsend, playing baseball at the rec center, scootering and wandering around town and trails, reading, playing games, and bird watching. November 11-13 2006 What a grand place! View - weather & house. Wonderfully furnished for easy and comfort. - super kitchen. We had a super getaway. October 21st My son and his wife offered me a holiday anywhere in the world. This was a splendid choice. One of my fondest memories. Learning to swim in Sol Due (sparkling waters) Hot Springs, hiking to Mink Lake. On the way there we saw Coho leaping the cascades. We hiked to the spectacular triple waterfalls through heavenly rain falls. Your hospitality is genuinely appreciated, every amenity anticipated. We agree with other guests on the superb quality of food and service at Ajax. This was one of our most pleasant holidays ever. Relaxing & stimulating at once. Thank you for an outstanding vacation. September 10-16, 2006 We were taken back by the beautifully built house when we walked in. (Loved the gas fireplace) Enjoyed watching the many boats come and go from the marina. This was the perfect vacation home to relax and enjoy the scenery. Can't wait to return. Jason, Texas

April 22-29 2006 A wonderful house in a beautiful setting. We felt really at home straight away. Had gorgeous weather nearly all week. Saw herons, eagles, raccoons and otter. June 22-26 2006 We enjoyed beautiful sunny days and hot weather, completely unexpected. Our favorites were wading in the tide flats, side trips to the National Park (Marymoor Falls hike is truly exceptional) and Port Angeles & Port Townsend, whale watching and seeing a bear on Indian Island. We loved the peace and quiet. Sunset was a wonderful time to watch the boats. We didn't see eagles but we did see some seals. The tide flats were teeming with life. It's a beautiful place and we had a great time The Simons and Salmons.
May 2006 Rode family vacation reunion. We came in from Michigan, and our daughter from Florida, our son from California. The first couple of days were clear with smooth water. We watched what we thought were harbor seals playing in the bay. They had flippers and fins but never came to shore. We saw eagles every day mostly juvenile birds and a couple of times adult bald eagles. Our spirits were restored, our minds and bodies relaxed and our hearts reconnected. We were truly blessed.
April 1-8 2006 We had a wonderful relaxing week watching the gulls, herons and eagles mixed with video, game challenges, reading and stitching. The view was a thrilling backdrop to it all. Thank you for sharing your home with us. The Chambers, Marysville, WA
